Kristin Mastre is a wife, a mother, a friend, a Personal Trainer and a Writer. Kristin has been blogging for years, starting with her family blog in 2005. Her personal blog has been highlighted on NewParent.com and various other parenting blogs around the world after writing about the challenges of pregnancy, parenthood and the adventures of raising two boys in the Rocky Mountains. She began writing a health and fitness blog in 2007 that had posts published by Fox News, Reuters, USA Today, iVillage, and a multitude of news stations across the country. After noticing that there was a lack of food bloggers in Fort Collins, she decided to throw her hat into the ring in May of 2009.
Kristin is the #1 top food blogger and restaurant critic in the City of Fort Collins and Northern Colorado, specializing in craft beer and pairing dinners. Every aspect of the roles in her life revolve around her love of food in some way: date nights with her husband, finding kid-friendly places to eat with her family, a night out on the town with her friends and helping her training clients find healthy food choices to achieve their fitness goals. Reviews on Feasting Fort Collins cover a variety of food establishments – locally owned family restaurants, fast-casual chains, coffee houses, breweries, and more. If you can eat it, she will review it.
From her experiences dining at some of the worlds best restaurants when she lived in Las Vegas, Portland and Denver, and the years that she’s cooked home-made meals from scratch (even down to making her own spices) due to her son’s food allergies, she knows what a fresh and delicious meal is supposed to taste like. Being an honest writer, she’ll tell it like she tastes it.
When not dining out at one of the many restaurants in Fort Collins, you can find her in the gym (working off the food review calories), going on fun adventures with her family, meeting with local businesses to collaborate, and trying to find the perfect balance of it all.

Lara is a mother, wife, entrepreneur, writer, and self-proclaimed foodie and executive chef wannabe. Growing up in a home with parents who are excellent cooks she discovered a love for cooking and food. Trying different cuisines at an early age fostered a curiosity that still guides her creative endeavors today.
After finally completing her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature at the tender age of 37, she decided to develop a line of specialty foods. Of course, what else would you do with an English degree? Lara currently owns Pickled Pink Gourmet Foods and you can find her most Sundays and some Wednesdays at the Farmers Market and perhaps will even see her products in local stores soon.
Now, editing reviews, Lara can finally put that degree to work. She looks forward to entering the blogging world with Kristin.
