Tomorrow is the big day – Great Plates begins! Have you perused the menus yet? Have you made your plans? Well, do I have something fun for you!
A restaurant hop! A dishcrawl! A progressive dinner! Whatever you want to call it, I’m getting a group of readers together to join me on a Great Plates tour. I’ve done this in the past quite a few times and it’s incredibly fun. Not only is it a fantastic way to catch up with some lovely readers off-line, it’s a fun way to explore different restaurant dishes, and support the Food Bank For Larimer County at the same time.
Here are the details!
Feasting Fort Collins Dishcrawl
Saturday, March 9th 5:00-8:00pm
Appetizers at The Astoria: Hummus, Shrimp Ceviche, or Gambas Asadas with Patatas Bravas
Entrees at Jax Fish House: Braised Colorado’s Best Beef Short Ribs or Grilled New England Swordfish
Dessert at Austin’s: Key Lime, Coconut, Banana, or Chocolate Silk Pie
Please RSVP to me at Kristin@feastingfortcollins.com. We’ll have a max of 8 people, so this will fill up quickly!
Please bring a little bit of cash for donation opportunities at each restaurant for The Food Bank For Larimer County.
Now, what if you can’t make it to the dishcrawl? What if reservations are snatched up before you know it? Don’t sweat it, there’s still more!
Feasting Fort Collins Reader Reviews!
All throughout Great Plates you can post YOUR review of a Great Plates dish experience on the Feasting Fort Collins Facebook Page. Take a photo, leave your thoughts about the experience, and post it to the page! I have Butter Cream Cupcakery and Matador gift cards for 21 random people who do!
Please make sure your facebook privacy settings are set to where people can see your photo (so, make it a public photo). I will comment on each photo so you know I saw it. If I do not comment on it, that means it’s lost in privacy setting land. Email me, message me, tweet me , send up smoke signals to let me know! I’ll add your name to the list of entries!
Now, let’s get crackin’ on those Great Plates plans so we can all help achieve this years’ goal of raising $25,000 for The Food Bank For Larimer County!
